New Gas Field Discovered in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Aramco has recently discovered a new gas field south of Al-Ghawar field in the Eastern Region, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Ali al-Naimi announced.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, the minister said the Kassab-1 field has a production capacity of 16.2 million cubic feet per day was discovered on August 17, 2006, in an area located 50 kilometers south of Al-Ghawar field.
