Carson Energy Takes Minority Stake in S.W. Redfish Reef Prospect
Carson Energy has been successful in securing a minority working interest in the S. W. Redfish Reef Prospect State Tract 307 #1 located in the State Waters of Texas in Trinity Bay.
The prospect is located in leases immediately adjacent to the State Tract #308 (Grouper) #1 well leases. The State Tract 308 (Grouper) #1 well tested at 17,835 MCFG and 349 barrels of condensate per day through a 24/64" choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 5,894 psi during flow testing on the rig, as announced July 15, 2006.
Drilling operations on the S. W. Redfish Reef State Tract 307 #1 well are underway.
This interest acquisition adds to Carson's growing portfolio of wells and 3D prospects in the Trinity and Galveston Bay area though various Operators focusing on the deep Frio and Vicksburg production intervals.
