PSL Taps Sredensek to Lead Technical Support
PSL Energy Services Ltd has appointed Eric Sredensek to head up their newly established Technical Support Group (TSG).
During a 30 year career with Halliburton, Eric held a number of senior technology related roles for coiled tubing, hydraulic workover and high pressure pumping services.
As Technical Support Group Manager based at PSL headquarters in Aberdeen, Eric will lead a team providing international support and technical authority for each of PSL's service lines.
The formation of the TSG reflects PSL's international growth and the new unit will focus on providing technical excellence and delivering innovative equipment designs to improve the effectiveness of PSL's services.
The TSG will also have responsibility for the design and maintenance of PSL's equipment fleet.
PSL managing director, Doug Duguid, said: "Year on year growth in the last three years, and the number and complexity of contracts that we have secured, means a technical support group has become a necessity.
"The TSG will be the technical authority across the group and act as technical back up to our operations by devising new and innovative solutions to problems encountered by our customers.
"It will be a 24/7 facility and means that should a problem occur, a client operating in any part of the world and any time zone, can expect a speedy solution from PSL experts who have worked at the highest level.
"I am delighted Eric has joined us and his extensive experience in equipment development and technical solutions will ensure our TSG is highly respected throughout the oil and gas industry."
Eric Sredensek added: "Establishing a TSG is an indicator that a company places the highest priority on providing effective and innovative equipment solutions and customer service and it was PSL's commitment to both which was a major factor in deciding to take up this post."
PSL Energy Services Ltd is based at Portlethen, Aberdeen, and has regional bases in Stavanger, Great Yarmouth, Houston, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Baku, employing more than 750 staff.
