Wood Group ESP Opens New Facility in Alberta
Wood Group ESP (Canada) Ltd., part of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), has opened a new 30,000-square foot facility in Leduc, Alberta, Canada to increase the business' manufacturing capabilities and service provided to WGESP's customers in the Canadian marketplace.
The new facility is centrally located in the Western Canadian sedimentary basin and will function as a manufacturing and service center for electric submersible pumps. WGESP will support the wide range of markets in the sedimentary basin, including but not limited to conventional and heavy oil, coal bed methane, oil sands and natural gas.
"We are excited to open this new facility and become a stronger presence in the Canadian oil and gas market," said Ron Wing, WGESP's Canadian region manager. "Our facility's central location in Alberta and strong staff will help to increase our capabilities and market share in Canada."
The new facility is located at 3917 81 Ave., Leduc, Alberta T9E 8S6.
