MCS Appoints HR Director to Coordinate Rapid Growth and Recruitment
Subsea engineering company MCS has appointed Maureen Lynch as its new HR director, to manage its rapid global recruitment drive.
With offices in six locations around the world, the firm is aiming to double in size and needs to recruit an additional 100 staff to meet increasing customer demand. Ms Lynch will spearhead the recruitment drive.
She brings more than 25 years HR experience to MCS and will drive efforts to boost the company's profile, further supporting its aim of attracting and retaining the talented employees it needs to sustain its international expansion.
She will focus on training and induction, making sure the company's people are equipped with the skills to be as productive as possible. Ensuring internal communications are as robust and open as possible will also be part of her remit.
Previous to her arrival at MCS, Ms Lynch spent 18 years at Hewlett-Packard Galway, where she managed all aspects of HR, including recruitment and workforce development.

MCS currently employs more than 120 people in six offices spread over four continents.
Centered on the oil and gas subsea sector, it provides engineering and riser services ranging from conceptual and front end to detailed design and verification in floating production steel catenary risers, flexible riser and flowline systems, top tensioned risers, tanker loading systems, drilling risers and mooring systems.
The firm has enjoyed significant growth in the global marketplace, including the Gulf of Mexico, with its Houston office almost doubling in size due to demand.
MCS' network of offices are in Aberdeen, Scotland; Galway, Ireland; Houston, Texas, Paris, France, Perth Australia and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
