Roc Sets Company Record for Net Effective Oil Production
During the past week Roc Oil Co. Limited’s net effective oil production reached approximately 14,100 barrels of oil per day, a record for the company by a considerable margin. This performance reflects production in Mauritania and record production levels in Australia and China.
“This is one of Roc’s shortest Stock Exchange releases, but it is also one of the most significant, particularly in view of the current oil price, and the fact that 5 months ago Roc’s oil production was negligible,” John Doran, Roc’s CEO, said in a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange.
Net production rate is calculated on a working interest basis and includes production from offshore China, which relates to a recently announced acquisition expected to close during the next month or two with an effective date of July 1, 2006.
