Daybreak Farms In on North Shuteston
Daybreak Oil and Gas, Inc. said that it has acquired a 50% working interest in the North Shuteston Project in St. Landry Parish, La.
The Washington-based company has elected to participate for a 50% working interest in a 2,500 foot test of a Miocene sand. The Richter No. 1 Well will test a low-risk, 3-D seismic-supported shallow amplitude anomaly at a depth of 2,500 feet. This seismic hydrocarbon indicator (HCI) is analogous to an identical HCI located 2 miles south on the same structural ridge, which was tested productive by the Sun-Burleigh-Miller #5 Well in a down-dip position.
A pipeline is located approximately 2 miles from the proposed well location. South Louisiana spot gas prices are anticipated.
