Stallion Adds Oilfield Construction to Ft. Worth Basin Market

Stallion Oilfield Services has completed the acquisition of Bowie Dozer Service, Inc. Bowie is the leading oilfield construction company in the Ft. Worth Basin. From its operations in Bowie and Decatur, Texas, Bowie Dozer provides location construction and heavy equipment services for rig sites. This transaction expands Stallion's oilfield construction business into the active Barnett Shale region where it currently provides its other rig housing, solids control and StarComm(TM) satellite communications services.

"Bowie brings Stallion's oilfield construction service line into the Ft. Worth Basin, an area we have targeted significant investment in order to better serve our customers," said Craig Johnson, Stallion's CEO. "The two Bowie locations, along with our recently opened Beaumont, Texas, office, further expand Stallion's oilfield construction capabilities from South Louisiana to North Texas."
