ISS Merits BP President's Award for Shah Deniz
International Snubbing Services (ISS), a Superior Energy Services offshore service company, has won the BP President's Award for its work on the Shah Deniz gas export project in the Caspian Sea offshore Azerbaijan.
ISS, working with KCA DEUTAG, provided snubbing package stack up, operation, dismantling and storage. The snubbing operation was completed on schedule with no incidents.
The safe and successful joint venture between ISS and KCA DEUTAG at BP-operated Shah Deniz began in June 2005 with a three-year contract with options for two additional years. ISS and KCA DEUTAG have been cooperating since 1998 on several opportunities in the region.
Formed in 1982, ISS has service locations outside Louisiana in Australia, Azerbaijan, Trinidad and Venezuela.
