Venture Applies to DTI for Consent to Work the Amanda & Agatha Prospects
Venture Production (North Sea Developments) Limited has applied to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry for consent to carry out work in (UKCS block 49/11a) approximately 100 km north of Great Yarmouth. The work includes sidetracking an existing well to appraise the Amanda field, drilling an Agatha prospect exploration well, and if either well is successful, installing a 3km gas pipeline connecting them to existing export pipelines.
In accordance with the above-mentioned Regulations the application was accompanied by an Environmental Statement which can be viewed on DTI's website. Members of the public may make representations regarding the application until April 28, 2006 by letter, fax or e-mail to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.
