CHC Awarded Contract for New Aircraft Technology

The contract – the first deployment of the AB139 aircraft type in the UK sector of the North Sea – will see the aircraft support Tullow Oil's southern North Sea operations.

It will replace another medium aircraft which has been operated by CHC in support of Tullow from CHC's base in North Denes since October 2005.

The new contract will be for a minimum three years' duration starting in July 2006. CHC has recently commenced operations with the first of two contracted AB139 aircraft in Den Helder, The Netherlands.
