Knowledge Systems Names Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Knowledge Systems announced that Kevin Brady has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing. Knowledge Systems provides industry-leading software, training and consulting services that are used by E&P companies worldwide to help avoid drilling hazards and improve drilling success.
According to James Webster, chief operating officer for Knowledge Systems, Brady will lead Knowledge Systems' sales and marketing efforts as the company continues to build its global presence and expand its customer base and product mix.
"We are excited to have Kevin in this new role," said Webster. "Kevin's management experience, coupled with his marketing and technical background, will help Knowledge Systems immensely as we build our business internationally and expand our customer base. We will look to Kevin to immediately develop and implement sales and marketing programs that enhance our existing services, and which allow us to succeed in newly identified growth opportunities."
Brady, who brings more than 18 years of experience in sales and marketing, project management, research and engineering, and field operations to Knowledge Systems, has spent the past year managing and directing Knowledge Systems marketing efforts. Before joining the company, he was corporate marketing manager for Calgary-based Precision Drilling Corporation where he helped direct and market the company's international growth and expansion into drilling services.
Brady began his career as a field engineer with Sperry-Sun Drilling Services, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in professional geology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and an MBA in marketing from the University of Houston. He is a member of SPE, AAPG and SPWLA, and has authored several technical papers.
