Knowledge Systems Expands Staff

Knowledge Systems, the leading supplier of software and services for pore pressure and geomechanical analysis to the oil and gas E&P industry, today announced three new additions to its global sales and marketing team. Joining the company are Theresa Lewis as North American account manager for services; Drew Swanson, North American account manager for software; and, Ashly Tenini, marketing communications manager.

"As Knowledge Systems continues to grow and expand, it’s important that we have the right mix of people to demonstrate the value that our software and services can bring to our customers. We are excited about the contributions that Theresa, Drew and Ashly will make to our company and to the success of our customers," said James Webster, chief operating officer for Knowledge Systems.

Lewis, with more than 18 years of account management and support experience, was most recently an account manager for TGS-Nopec’s A2D Technologies subsidiary. Lewis received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University at College Station. She is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.

Swanson, who brings 15 years of account management experience selling engineering software into both upstream and downstream oil and gas markets, previously sold Neural Networks and Expert System-based real-time optimization products for Pavilion Technologies and Gensym Corporation. Prior to his work in real-time optimization, Swanson worked for Schlumberger's Merak Projects in Calgary and Houston. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

Tenini worked for as a business development specialist for CDI Engineering Solutions before joining Knowledge Systems. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin in public relations with concentrations in both Spanish and business foundations. Tenini is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
