CHC Acquires Equity Stake in Brazilian Helicopter Services

CHC Helicopter Corporation has exercised its option to acquire a significant equity position in Brazilian Helicopter Services. The acquisition is subject to several terms and conditions, and is expected to close by March 12, 2006.
BHS is one of the largest helicopter operators in the Brazilian offshore sector, employing a team of more than 200 professionals and operating a fleet of 8 aircraft.
CHC Helicopter Corporation is the world's largest provider of helicopter services to the global offshore oil and gas industry, with aircraft operating in more than 30 countries worldwide.
