CapRock Listed as One of the Top Teleport Operators of 2005

On the heels of the Teleport Developer of the Year award presented in early 2005, CapRock has again been recognized as a leader in the market by earning a place on the list of Top Teleport Operators of 2005 by the World Teleport Association. The list features CapRock -- which delivers satellite services to the world's harshest and most remote locations, including oil and gas platforms, ships, construction, cruise lines and mining sites as well as services for disaster recovery and government services -- in two of the three categories used to determine the leading players in the global teleport operator market: The Independent Top 10 and The Fast 10.

"Commercial teleport operation has become a diverse and complex market with many segments and niches," said Robert Bell, Executive Director of the World Teleport Association. "The Top Operator rankings salute companies like CapRock that have done the hard work of amassing scale, meeting the needs of specific customer groups and achieving strong growth in a highly competitive business. We're proud to count these exceptional companies as members of our global association."

CapRock's ranking on the Independent Top 10 spotlights the company as a leading player in the industry based on revenue numbers. The Fast 10 list, which ranks companies on year-over-year growth, is indicative of CapRock's recent success and ambitious global expansion.

"CapRock's ranking on both The Independent Top 10 and The Fast 10 lists exemplifies a unique combination of qualities," commented Bell. "Specifically, it highlights a company with the financial and operational stability of an established leader with the speed and flexibility of an industry innovator."

"We are honored to be recognized by the World Teleport Association for the second time this year," said CapRock President and COO Errol Olivier. "We recognize that this award would not be possible without the hard work of our employees and the confidence of our global customer base. It is rewarding to know that our customers have benefited from the reliable operations of our global teleports."
