Peak Group Wins Louisiana Drilling Project
This is Peak Group,s first project with Falcon Bay. It will be responsible for handling all of the planning, procurement, drilling and completions operations for the well. Newly-appointed operations manager Clarke Denney will head up the locally-based team of engineers. Planning work is already underway and drilling is expected to start before the end of the year.
This will be the fifth well drilled by The Peak Group in the area since December 2004. A barge-borne well and a land well were drilled for Century Exploration in Louisiana and a further two land wells were completed in Maverick County, Texas.
Michael Williams, vice president of The Peak Group USA, said: "Falcon Bay Energy is an aggressive company with major growth plans. We are pleased to be undertaking the Louisiana well project. Our growing local team headed up by Clarke Denney has begun work on the planning of this well and we are excited with the opportunity to expand our well management services in Texas and Louisiana."
