The initial well on this 300 acre prospect will, be drilled to 13,200' to test the Cib Hazz 1, 2, 3 & 4 Sands, which produce in the Bayou Sorrel Field area in which this prospect is located. This test well location is based on 3D seismic and lies about 1000' away from a well that produced over 225,000 barrels of oil from the Cib Hazz 1 & 2 Sands. It is expected to be high to this former producer and its reserve potential is in the 1,500,000 to 2,000,000 barrel of oil range.

Houston American's Hog Heaven Prospect is currently drilling. Its Sugarland Prospect's initial well is expected to begin drilling by December 1, 2005 and initial wells on both the West Fargo and Obenhaus Prospects are scheduled for January 2006.

"Houston American is very pleased to participate in the Green Jacket Prospect. The initial well is located based on 3D seismic interpretation and as a result is expected to get high to a well that produced significant oil from 2 of the 4 objective sands. This prospect has exactly the low risk high potential profile of domestic prospects that have worked for us and that have provided the asset base to advance our business plan. HUSA remains enthusiastic about our year end domestic drilling schedule and the upside it provides to the company," said John F. Terwilliger, Chairman, Houston American Energy Corp.
