Statoil Extends Well Monitoring Contract with Roxar
A contract with Roxar for the use of permanent downhole monitoring equipment has been extended by Statoil to the end of 2007. The extension will be worth some NOK 110-155 million.
The downhole devices allow the group to secure continuous information about pressure and temperature from a well or a reservoir.
That in turn makes it easier to plan, manage and exploit the field in the best possible way.
Initially awarded to Roxar in 2000, the contract which has now been extended also covers project planning, installation and maintenance services.
