Ultra Petroleum reports that the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission approved Ultra's request for five 10-acre pilot programs on Ultra's Pinedale
Anticline acreage. These pilot programs consist of a total 128 ten-acre wells.
"This decision enables Ultra to proceed with gathering the data requested by the WOGCC in anticipation of final approval of field-wide 10-acre downspacing on the Pinedale Anticline. This additional data will further support our belief that field-wide 10-acre spacing on the Pinedale Anticline field is an issue of 'when' not 'if'," stated Michael D. Watford, Ultra's Chairman, President and CEO.
