Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids Moves FES Unit to New Lafayette Location
Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids recently moved its Fluids Environmental Services (FES) operations support center to a new facility at 1555 Verot School Road in Lafayette, Louisiana.
The new complex provides more office, warehouse and yard space than the FES group's previous operations base. From this new location, the FES team will provide operational field support, engineering, project management, rental waste management equipment, HS&E, Quality Assurance and marketing support for North American and international clients. The move to the new facility was completed on schedule and without recordable HS&E incidents.
Chad Hollier, North America Manager for Fluids Environmental Services, said, "The new purpose-built facility has room for more efficient manufacturing and repair work stations, a larger training room, and more spacious administration offices. There's also enough yard space to accommodate back-up FES equipment." Chad Hollier concluded, "Even though we already have an excellent safety record, this custom-designed facility will help us work to maintain zero HS&E incidents."
