Knowledge Systems Named to Houston Small Business 100
Knowledge Systems has been named to the 2005 Houston Small Business 100 by the Houston Business Journal. This annual award recognizes the fastest growing small businesses in the Houston area by gross revenue. Knowledge Systems was also a finalist for the Enterprise Champion award, a separate award recognizing companies showing industry leadership in benefits to employees, company culture and service to the community. This makes the third time that Knowledge Systems has made the Houston Small Business 100 list.
James Webster, chief operating officer for Knowledge Systems, credits a strong team of employees focused on success for the company's performance. "We are excited to make the Houston Small Business 100 for the third time. We are also proud to be a finalist for the Enterprise Champion award. Providing a great work environment for our employees and giving back to the community are two of our guiding principles, and are instrumental in achieving consistent revenue growth."
To qualify for the Houston Small Business 100, companies must be headquartered in the eight-county Houston metropolitan area, have less than $75 million in revenue and must have been in business for at least five years. Knowledge Systems was one of only five oil-and-gas-related companies to make the list.
