DTI to Introduce New Stewardship Process for Mature Fields
In April 2005, DTI is introducing a new "Stewardship" process that brings more focus to much of the work that the DTI already undertakes on the UKCS's mature fields. This new process has been developed following extensive discussion between DTI, the Brown Fields Work Group and UKOOA following the PILOT Brown Fields Work Group report of March 2005. Raising the game on stewardship will lead to substantial additional worthwhile investment and the recovery of significant incremental reserves.
DTI will be giving presentations introducing the Stewardship process to provide a more detailed description of how the process will affect companies with interests in UK's producing fields. The first seminar will be in Aberdeen on April 25th, It will be repeated on April 26th in Aberdeen and April 29th in London. If you would like to attend one of these seminars please contact DTI.
