Clough AMEC Forge Links With Woodside

The Clough AMEC Joint Venture has been selected as the preferred tenderer for an Integrated Services Contract (ISC) by Woodside Energy Ltd of Australia.

Clough AMEC will now enter the second stage of the procurement process with Woodside, in order to formalize an agreement by September 2005. Subject to the agreement, the Clough AMEC JV will perform a three year contract commencing on the 1st January 2006. Initially the ISC will include Woodside's Oil assets located in the Wanaea Cossack Lambert Hermes (Cossack Pioneer FPSO), Enfield, Legendre and Laminaria-Corallina (Northern Endeavour FPSO) fields. Future growth opportunities, under this contract may flow from Woodside's new facilities as they commence production.

The Woodside ISC involves supply of project management, integrated engineering, operational maintenance, modification and supply chain integration services to Woodside. Clough AMEC is a 50/50 joint venture between Clough Limited of Australia and AMEC Plc of the UK. AMEC is one of the world's largest operations & maintenance contractors in the oil and gas sector. Together, the Joint Venture forms a strong team with complementary capabilities.

Award of this contract follows on from the current services contract the Clough AMEC Joint Venture is performing for ConocoPhillips on the Bayu Undan platforms.
