Touchstone Begins Production from Wharton County Project
Touchstone Resources USA reports that it has tested its Gubert #1 well on the Duncan prospect, Wharton County, Texas, and established an initial production rate of 2 Million Cubic Feet (MMCF) of gas per day. The Gubert #1 has now been shut in pending completion and production to sales as soon as equipment is available.
Wes Franklin, Executive Vice President of Touchstone, said "We are happy to see the Gubert #1 establish a commercial production rate and now expect to drill additional locations offsetting this well, pending rig availability."
Touchstone is the operator of the Wharton County Project and has a net interest of approximately 18% of the project on approximately 4,000 acres in two different prospects, the Colorado Bend and the Duncan.
