Hercules Offshore Appoints Steven Manz as CFO

Hercules Offshore has appointed Steven Manz as the company's Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Manz joins Hercules with 18 years of financial and management experience. Most recently, Mr. Manz was Managing Director - Noble Technology Services, a Division of Noble Corporation. Earlier in his career at Noble Corporation, he served as Vice-President of Strategic Planning, and prior to that he was Director of Accounting and Investor Relations at Noble.

Hercules Offshore operates the second largest liftboat fleet and the sixth largest jack-up drilling fleet in the Gulf of Mexico. Through its two operating subsidiaries, Hercules Drilling and Hercules Liftboats, the company offers a range of services to oil and gas producers to meet their needs during drilling, well service, platform inspection, maintenance, and decommissioning operations in the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Hercules Offshore was formed in August 2004 with equity capital from Lime Rock Partners, a private equity firm based in Westport, Connecticut, and additional equity capital from Greenhill Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in New York.
