Murphy Oil Makes Management Changes
Herbert A. Fox, Jr. has been promoted to Executive Vice President - Worldwide Downstream Operations of Murphy Oil Corporation. Fox joined the Company in 1969 and has held a number of positions in the organization. Most recently he served as Vice President - Worldwide Downstream Operations and President of Murphy Oil USA, Inc., the Company's U.S. downstream subsidiary. Fox is a Chemical Engineering graduate of Texas A&M University. He will continue to report to Claiborne Deming, President and CEO.
W. Michael Hulse has been named President of Murphy Oil USA, Inc. Most recently having served as President of the Company's U.K. downstream subsidiary, Murphy Eastern Oil Company, Hulse will assume responsibility for all U.S. based downstream activities. Hulse joined the Company in 1990 and holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He will report to Herbert A. Fox, Jr., Executive Vice President.
Stephen R. Wylie, currently Senior Vice President of Murphy Eastern Oil Company, is being promoted to President of that subsidiary of Murphy Oil Corporation. Wylie will be responsible for all U.K. based downstream activities. He holds a bachelor's degree in physics from Queen's University in Belfast, Ireland and is a Certified Management Accountant. He joined the Company in 1987. Wylie will continue to be located in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England and will report to Herbert A. Fox, Jr., Executive Vice President.
