NM Wood Group Wins ECMA Beachfield Contract in Trinidad

NM Wood Group Ltd., a Trinidadian company jointly owned by a John Wood Group PLC subsidiary and Neal & Massy Energy Ltd., has been awarded a contract valued at approximately US$2 million to provide engineering and related services for B G Trinidad & Tobago (BG T&T) Ltd.'s ECMA (East Coast Marine Area) Beachfield Onshore Facilities Project.

"This contract award resoundingly endorses the use of a well-designed joint venture between highly reputable and successful business enterprises to accelerate sustainable development in a key high-technology business space in the energy services industry of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago," said Dr. Kermitt W. Walrond, deputy chairman of Neal & Massy Energy Limited and chairman of NM Wood Group Ltd. "Our goal is to quickly become the in-country provider of choice in our business space in Trinidad & Tobago."

NM Wood Group is providing detailed design, engineering, procurement, and project and construction management services for ECMA Beachfield Onshore Facilities Project for the Dolphin gas field, off the eastern coast of Trinidad. The onshore facility will encompass three-phase separation, slug removal capacity, condensate storage, gas and condensate export, water treatment and venting, fiscal metering for two export pipelines, and utilities.
