Duffy & McGovern Expands Global Team

Duffy & McGovern has expanded its global team with the appointment of three new personnel.
The company, which has bases in 12 cities and nine countries worldwide, has appointed two new sales executives in Canada and Scotland and a new technical support executive in its New Orleans office in the US.
Barry Broderick joins as general manager with Associated Marine, Duffy & McGovern's Canadian partner. Based in St Johns, Barry has over 12 year's experience in the oil and gas sector and will be responsible for representing the Duffy & McGovern fleet and managing new business contracts in the Newfoundland area.
Commenting on his appointment, President of Associated Marine, Rod Wark, said: "We are very pleased that Barry is joining the team and bringing his vast experience to the organisation. He will be a tremendous asset and will significantly advance Duffy & McGovern's interests in the Newfoundland marketplace."
Lyn Spencer will join Duffy & McGovern's Aberdeen team as a Sales Executive in November with responsibility for new business development and key accounts in the UK oil and gas sector.
While in the United States, the company has boosted its technical support service with the appointment of Karen Guillot as Operations Administrator. With 22 years in the oil and gas industry, Karen will provide administrative back-up to the Duffy & McGovern operations team in New Orleans, managing contract files, transportation and delivery of modules in the US sector.
Commenting on the new appointments, Duffy & McGovern commercial director, Craig Russell said: "As a growing global organisation, we are always looking to bring new experienced and dedicated people into our team. I am delighted that we have secured these new appointments which will allow us to further expand our business and continue to provide a comprehensive service to our growing customer base."
