Two in a Row for the Expro Group at 2004 World Oil Awards

Expro International Group is delighted to announce that its CaTSTM Cableless Telemetry System has been awarded "Best Completion Solution" at the third annual World Oil Awards in Houston, Texas on October 14th. Last year the company's Excape Completion Process won the same award.

Expro's CaTS technology is a revolutionary development in the field of reservoir monitoring and control that allows real-time information to be transmitted from downhole without the use of cabling or wireline in the well. The two-way transmission capability enables the remote control of downhole instrumentation opening the path to radical redesign of downhole completions. The Expro Group accepted the award from Rusty Meador, Publisher of World Oil magazine.

Group Marketing Director, Francis Neill, said: "This is an excellent achievement for CaTS which reflects its position as one of the most exciting new technologies in the field of production optimization in the industry today."

World Oil magazine announced the eleven winners of the annual World Oil Awards at a black-tie gala dinner in Houston, Texas. The dinner, attended by close to 400 industry leaders, also benefited three universities that offer programs leading to careers in the petroleum industry.
