ATP Completes 5th Project & 10th Successful Well for 2004

ATP Oil & Gas reports on the details of three successful wells from development activities at its West Cameron 237 block, bringing to ten the number of commercial wells completed by ATP this year from five projects. The WC 237 A-3ST well which is currently producing logged 36 feet of gas pay in a Pleistocene sand. Completion operations are underway to bring the two additional wells to production. The WC 237 A-8ST logged 22 feet of projected gas pay in a Pleistocene sand and the WC 237 #5 well logged approximately 135' of projected gas pay in four separate zones. ATP is the operator and holds a 75 percent working interest in two of the wells and a 45 percent interest in the third well.

T. Paul Bulmahn, ATP's Chairman and President said, "West Cameron 237 strengthens our already robust 97% success rate. It is our 36th project we have placed on production that was previously undeveloped. The successful development activities of the three wells at West Cameron 237 will allow ATP to continue to increase both cash flow and production for 2004. We are delighted with their results and the expected solid contribution from these three wells to our Gulf of Mexico production."
