ExxonMobil Says Cree Well is Non-Commercial

ExxonMobil says that the Cree well located offshore Nova Scotia will be plugged and abandonded after encountering non-commercial amounts of hydrocarbons.

Exxon and its partners in the venture will continue to evaluate the results of the well. ExxonMobil will remain committed to Canada and will continue to evaluate any opportunities that may arise in the future.

ExxonMobil is operator of the well with a 40% stake. Imperial Oil holds a 20% stake and Shell holds the other 40%.
