Production Resumes from Belida Field Offshore Indonesia

Production has restarted from ConocoPhillips' Belida Platform offshore Indonesia. Output was halted on July 25th due to an incident involving the Atwood Beacon, an official at BP Migas said on Friday.

"Production was restarted early this morning. The platform will begin with low production level and then increase gradually. It will take time to ramp up to full production," BP Migas deputy chief Trijana Kartoatmodjo told reporters.

"We expect it will achieve its full production of 17,000 barrels per day of oil from Saturday," he added.
