AusGroup Limited subsidiary MAS Australasia Pty Ltd has entered into an agreement with Clough Projects International for the supply of rope access trade services on the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG project, in a development which will allow for the creation of new Australian jobs.

The contract supports the hook-up and pre-commissioning phase of the project’s Central Processing Facility (CPF) and the Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facilities.

MAS will be responsible for the delivery of rope access trade activities required for the hook-up and pre-commissioning scope of work, supporting onshore and offshore pre-investment activities in Western Australia and Korea.

The scope of work will provide opportunities for skilled trade rope access technicians, supported by supervision, safety, administration and management roles, MAS confirmed on its website.
