Sapura Energy Berhad Awarded Several Service Deals

Malaysian oilfield services firm Sapura Energy Berhad revealed Thursday that it has been awarded several contracts with a combined value of approximately $205.96 million.

The deals, which were described as a ‘big’ win by a company spokesperson, include an EPCI (engineering, procurement, construction and installation) deal with PT. Gunanusa Utama Fabricators, an upgrade offshore single point mooring replacement deal with Brunei Shell Petroleum Co Sdn Bhd, and transportation and installation balance subsea works for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited in India.

The provision of inspection, repair and maintenance services was also awarded by Pttep Australasia Pty Ltd.

Sapura revealed in its latest financial results that the group had delivered a “robust operational performance” for the year ended January 31, 2017.

Within this period, the company accrued revenues of RM 7.7 billion and registered a profit after tax of RM 2016 million.
