Badile Exploration Well to be Drilled in March

Independent energy company, Sound Energy, confirmed Thursday that drilling at its 100 percent owned Badile exploration well onshore Italy will commence in March.

Ground works at the well site are now complete, with mobilization and rig-up operations expected to be finalized by the end of February.

The Badile exploration well is planned to be drilled to a total depth of 15,091 feet to test the hydrocarbon potential of the Lower Jurassic Conchodon Dolomite. The site holds prospective resources of 178 billion cubic feet of gas, according to Sound’s website.
