PPL Begins Gas Plant Ops at Gambat South's Shahdadpur Field in Sindh
Pakistan Petroleum Ltd. reported that it has commenced operations at the company's second gas processing facility at Sharf X-1 well in Shahdadpur field in Gambat South Block in Sindh, Pakistan.
The initial sale of 22 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscf/d) of gas has commenced, with the volume expected to rise to 33 MMscf/d from 50 MMscf/d of raw gas during the plant's performance testing.
Pakistan Petroleum said the processing plant, upon reaching its maximum design capacity, will produce 500 to 600 barrels per day of condensate and 2 to 10 metric tons of liquid pertroleum gas (LPG) in addition to 33 MMscf/d of sales gas.
