Vroon B.V., The Netherlands-based shipping company, reported that two of its newbuild platform supply vessels (PSV) has recently departed China following delivery by Fujian Southeast Shipyard, where they were built.
VOS Princess and VOS Principle, both KCM-80m PSVs, left the yard in China on July 16 and July 23, respectively. The 2 vessels were part of a series of 8 PSVs being built at the Fujian Southeast Shipyard for Vroon.
Vroon Offshore Services will manage both vessels, which are equipped with full (under-deck) supply capabilities including stainless-steel tanks for the carriage of methanol. The PSVs, based on a design by Khiam Chuan Marine (KCM), can provide accommodation and work space for 52 persons, while offering free deck space of 8,073 square feet (750 square meters).
