PJ Valves Launches New Piping Company in Houston

PJ Valves, the UK-based manufacturer and supplier of valves to the oil and gas industry, recently launched the piping business PJ Piping (PJP) in Houston, Texas – an area that has suffered tremendously from job loss in oil and gas the past two years.

PJ Valves created PJP as part of its overall growth strategy and in response to demand for simplified pipe, valves and fittings supplier process. PJP will supply specialist pipe fittings and flanges, as well as other piping components to the oil and gas, petrochemical and desalination sectors.

With the company’s expansion, it will create new job opportunities in the energy sector.

“PJP anticipates rapid global expansion, which has initially created new roles in warehousing and operations in Houston,” Daniel Composto, PJP’s managing director, told Rigzone. “This will be quickly followed by growing our existing international sales teams across PJ Group’s global hubs in Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia …”

Composto added that PJP’s focus will primarily be on the repair and maintenance market, while simultaneously developing the company’s presence in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

PJP is currently recruiting for roles in its projects and operations departments in Houston.
