Norwegian Production Rises

Norway’s production levels are increasing, according to preliminary production figures from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.

Output in April this year hit an average daily rate of around 2.029 million barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which was around 20,000 barrels per day, or one percent, more than March. The average daily liquid production in April comprised 1.625 million barrels of oil, 374,000 barrels of NGL and 30,000 barrels of condensate.

Oil production for the month is about four percent above the oil production in April last year and three percent above the NPD’s prognosis.
