Wood Group Appoints New Chief Procurement Officer

Oilfield engineer Wood Group announced Tuesday that it has appointed Raymond Schlaff as its new chief procurement officer.

Wood Group said that Schlaff has more than 30 years of experience in procurement with several companies, including NALCO, Owens Illinois, Tyco, GE and Dupont. He has worked in the US, UK, Norway and the Netherlands.

Commenting on the appointment Wood Group CFO said:

"Ray has an outstanding record in supply chain management. His experience in driving efficiencies across supply chain functions, combined with his understanding of global markets, will serve Wood Group well during this dynamic time.

"Wood Group continues to focus on reducing costs and improving efficiencies, and Ray’s strong leadership will help to ensure success."
