JKX Oil & Gas Appoints New PPC General Director
Eastern Europe-focused energy firm JKX Oil & Gas plc announced Friday the appointment of Daniel Valk as the new general director of its wholly owned subsidiary Poltava Petroleum Company.
Valk has over 20 years of industrial management experience in Ukraine and Russia, including as chairman of the board of DSS-Zaporozhe, a major steel manufacturer. He is also the founder of Vista Tex oil and gas, an onshore oil and gas company located in Texas, USA.
Based in Poltava, Ukraine, Poltava Petroleum Company holds a 100 percent interest in the Ignatovskoye, Molchanovskoye, Novo-Nikolaevskoye and Rudenkovskoye production licenses, which form the Novo-Nikolaevskoye Complex, and a 100 percent interest in the Elizavetovskoye production license, which was issued in November 2014 for a period of 20 years.
