Technics Oil & Gas Appoints Ng Chiu Yuen as Group MD
Singapore-based Technics Oil & Gas Ltd., a full service integrator of compression systems and process modules for the petroleum industry, reported Wednesday that it has appointed Ng Chiu Yuen as group managing director to succeed Nathan Elumalay, who is the firm's executive chairman.
Prior to his appointment, Ng worked for CUEL Ltd., an engineering, procurement, construction and installation contractor in Thailand. He was special advisor for Upstream Oil & Gas at DDW-Paxocean Asia Pte Ltd. from 2007 to 2013 and managing director, Offshore Engineering Singapore and head of Marine Offshore Engineering Thailand between 2000 amd 2007.
Following Ng's assignment, Elumalay stepped down from his role as managing director -- a post he assumed April 1 after Ting Tiong Ching, who held the post from January 2014 until his resignation last month.
