Det Norske Production Drops YOY
Det norske oljeselskap ASA revealed Monday that its total first quarter production dropped to 60,600 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2016 from 64,900 the year before.
The biggest share of production, 38,400 boepd, came from the Alvheim field, with the Boyla and Volund field placing second and third with outputs of 9,100 boepd and 6,400 boepd, respectively. Alvheim was Det norske’s biggest production contributor in 2015 too, with 37,700 boepd.
Compared to the fourth quarter of 2015, Alvheim and Boyla increased their output rates. Volund, on the other hand, dropped its production in 1Q 2016 compared to 4Q 2015, when it flowed 7,300 boepd.
