Barakah's PBJV to Carry Out T&I Work for 2 Pipeline Projects off Malaysia
Barakah Offshore Petroleum Berhad disclosed Friday that its wholly-owned subsidiary company, PBJV Group Sdn Bhd (PBJV), has received the 2016 work scope to transport and install offshore facilities for the 2014 to 2016 in Malaysia.
The two pipeline projects are known as P1 and P2, with the former referring to the 24 inch 26.7 mile (43 kilometer) Bardegg and Baronia Pipeline from TTJT-A to BNCPP-B which is tentatively scheduled for installation in March. P2 refers to the 24 inch 77.7 mile (125 kilometer) and Bardegg and Baronia Pipeline from DNCPP-B to E11RC, with installation planned for May.
"The total value of the Work Scope will depend the duration of the work and costs related to Project Management Team, and engineering, materials, services, engineering and other related services," Barakah said in the filing with local stock exchange Bursa Malaysia.
