NPD: Norwegian Production on the Rise
Norwegian output is on the rise according to the latest preliminary production figures from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.
Data for December 2015 shows an average daily production rate of around 2.023 million barrels of oil, NGL and condensate from Norwegian waters, which is approximately 37,000 barrels per day, or 2 percent, more than November 2015.
The average daily liquid production in December was 1.609 million barrels of oil, 367,000 barrels of NGL and 47,000 barrels of condensate. Oil production was around 2.5 percent above the oil production in December last year and around 5 percent above the NPD’s prognosis for the month.
