OSLO, Nov 4 (Reuters) – Norway's Statoil said on Wednesday its gas production capacity will be reduced by 25 million cubic metres per day on Thursday due to problems at the Heimdal riser platform.

Heimdal is a gas transportation hub in the middle of the North Sea, sending gas from the Oseberg field to St Fergus terminal in Britain via the Vesterled pipeline.
