San Leon Energy: Rawicz-15 to Spud in November
San Leon Energy announced Monday that the Rawicz-15 development well, located on the Rawicz field in Poland, will spud during November 2015.
The well, which will be operated and funded by Palomar Natural Resources, is expected to take 35 days to reach a total depth of around 5,249 feet and will be followed by a full well testing program. In addition to providing a second production well at the site, Rawicz-15 will aim to gather further data on the Permian Rotliegendes sandstone reservoir in the southwestern extent of the Rawicz gas accumulation.
On May 19, San Leon Energy reported that the gross reserves for the Rawicz field stand at more than 50 billion cubic feet, according to a competent persons report.
