Transerv Encounters Gas Shows at Warro-5ST Well in WA's Warro Field
Transerv Energy Ltd. revealed Tuesday that the present operation at Warro-5ST in the Warro gas field in Western Australia is drilling ahead at 13,930 feet (246 meters) measured depth (MD) (13,619 feet or 4,151 meters total vertical depth or TVD) in an 8.5 inch hole. The well is presently drilling the Warro field reservoir section and has encountered gas shows.
Full evaluation of the well results will take place once all the electric logs are available over the full reservoir section. Operations at Warro-5ST should be finished during the next seven days at which time the rig will be moved to drill Warro-6 at a location approximately 1.9 miles (3 kilometers) to the northwest of Warro-5ST.
