MOL Recruits 200 New Graduates to its GROWWW Program
Hungary's MOL Group raised a cheer among young Eastern Europeans looking for a career in oil and gas when it announced on Wednesday that it has hired 200 new graduates for its GROWWW graduate program.
This week the 200 new MOL employees attended a two-day induction event at Zagreb, Croatia. So far, MOL has hired 1,770 graduates since its GROWWW program was launched in 2007.
This year's intake was recruited from countries across Eastern Europe as well as Italy and Pakistan after completing a three-month application process to the firm that began in March. MOL saw more than 10,000 candidates who had studied subjects as varied as engineering, economics, geoscience and social sciences while at university.
During a one-year program, the students will gain insights into the industry by participating in the company's Business Education Programme (BEP) and establishing and developing professional relationships. Each 'GROWWWer' is mentored by a senior colleague and can use MOL Group's "SpingMe" application, which helps them to monitor and develop their personal knowledge and skills, including cultural awareness.
After finishing the program, most of the GROWWWers can continue their career at MOL Group in expert, specialist or even manager positions, the firm said.
Commenting on its new intake of graduate recruits, MOL Vice President of Human Resources Zdravka Demeter Bubalo, said:
"We are proud to offer 200 ambitious, qualified top talents the opportunity to be part of MOL Group’s recruitment and development program GROWWW as they start their international careers. With the GROWWW program, young graduates receive the best possible opportunity to face real-life business challenges and actively shape the world through the oil and gas industry with their own positive energy."
