Prosafe Wins North Sea Accommodation Vessel Contract
Norwegian offshore accommodation provider Prosafe SE announced Monday that it has signed a $60-million contract to supply an accommodation vessel to an unnamed client in the UK sector of the North Sea.
The period of the contract is for more than eight months and will involve an initial short period using the Safe Zephyrus vessel, starting during the second quarter of 2016. This vessel will then be replaced by the Safe Notos when it arrives in the North Sea.
Prosafe said that the contract also includes four one-month extension options.
